For the second year running, FIAT is a proud supporter of the World Meeting on Human Fraternity, an event organized by the “Fratelli Tutti” Vatican Foundation. This year’s gathering, held in Rome on May 10th and 11th under the banner of #BeHuman, brings together global leaders from diverse backgrounds to tackle pressing social issues.

FIAT’s commitment to the event goes beyond simple sponsorship. The brand is showcasing its dedication to environmental responsibility by providing a fleet of electrified vehicles for attendees. This includes the ever-popular Fiat 600 in both electric and, making its Roman debut, hybrid versions. This display of cutting-edge electric technology highlights FIAT’s proactive approach to creating a more sustainable transportation landscape.

The World Meeting on Human Fraternity fosters dialogue and collaboration through a series of discussions across 12 thematic areas. Olivier Francois, CEO of FIAT, will be a key participant in a pivotal session focused on sustainability. Titled “Sostenibilità e Impresa: essere buoni conviene” (Sustainability and Enterprise: Being Good Pays Off), this roundtable will explore how collaboration can drive sustainable practices within the corporate world. The discussion will advocate for a renewed focus on the common good, social cohesion, and collaborative action – all essential elements in redefining a better quality of life, a critical challenge for modern businesses.

This year’s meeting comes after the historic signing of the Fraternity Declaration in June 2023. It serves as a powerful symbol of the ongoing commitment by global leaders to building a more interconnected and compassionate world. FIAT’s participation in the World Meeting on Human Fraternity further underscores the brand’s dedication to driving positive change and promoting shared values of sustainability on a global scale.
